BABY DOLL CIRCLE TIME

We’re excited to offer this meaningful resource for children and families with young children ages 1–5 who have been impacted by the child welfare system.

If you have a child within this age range and would like to learn more about whether this group is a good fit for your family, please contact Lauren Braun, LMSW laurenbraun@fostervillagentx.org or fill out the form below to start the conversation.

This group will meet Wednesday mornings from 10:00–11:00 a.m., Spring 2026. Baby Doll Circle Time will last approximately 30 minutes, followed by open time to play, connect with other moms, enjoy a cup of coffee, or chat with our Family Support Team.

Families will gather in our welcoming space, which includes a fully stocked playroom and a sensory room—perfect for little ones to move, explore, and get their wiggles out while caregivers build connection and community.

Trauma-Informed Parent Coaching

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Parenting children who have experienced trauma can bring unique challenges—meltdowns that seem to come out of nowhere, big emotions that feel hard to manage, and moments where nothing seems to “work.” At Foster Village North Texas, we understand that these behaviors are often a reflection of what your child has been through—not who they are.

That’s why we offer Trauma-Informed Parent Coaching at no cost to foster, adoptive, and kinship families.

Through one-on-one coaching with a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with training in Trauma-Informed Care, you’ll gain practical tools to connect, understand, and respond to your child’s needs in ways that promote healing and strengthen your relationship.

Together, you’ll work through The Whole-Brain Child Workbook—a practical guide that turns the latest brain science into everyday strategies for calmer, more connected parenting.

Whether you’re navigating daily power struggles, emotional outbursts, or simply looking for more support, this personalized coaching can help you:

  • Understand what’s happening beneath your child’s behavior

  • Learn new strategies to regulate your own emotions and model calm

  • Strengthen attachment and connection

  • Build confidence and hope in your parenting journey

You’re doing the hard work of helping a child heal—and we’re here to help you, too.
